Bill Sublette earned his law and bachelor's degrees from the University of Florida. He moved to Orlando in 1988, and in 1992 won a seat in the Florida House of Representatives, where he served for eight years. During his time in the Legislature he filled a variety of leadership positions, including stints as Chairman of the Education Appropriations Committee, Chairman of the House Public Responsibility Council, and Chairman of the Orange County Legislative

Delegation. Throughout his tenure he was consistently ranked as one of the most effective legislators in the House by the media.

Locally, Bill has served as Chairman of the Orange County Chairman's Jail Oversight Commission, Chairman of the Mayor's Education Action Council, Co-Chair of the Orange County Juvenile Justice Task Force, and most recently as Chairman of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Education, a group of 25 community leaders appointed by the Orange County School Board, City of Orlando, and Orange County government charged with recommending changes to improve the performance of Orange County's public schools. He currently serves as statewide chairman for No Casinos, Inc., and he is also the President, or an officer, of various community organizations, including public broadcaster WMFE, the Orange County Bar Association, the local Boy Scouts of America council, and the Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families.

Bill Sublette focuses on the general civil litigation needs of our clients with an emphasis on wrongful death, personal injury, and malpractice claims. He also handles ERISA benefit claims, first party insurance claims, and general commercial litigation matters. With eight years of service as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, Mr. Sublette lobbies local, state, and federal government entities for select clients.

Bill is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. He and his wife Suzie have three children, Alex (7) , Aubrey (4), and Jack (3).

Tristan Sanders specializes in family law. He has extensive experience handling dissolution of marriage cases, child support and alimony disputes, and adoption proceedings. Mr. Sanders also specializes in bankruptcy law, having practiced in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida for the past 12 years. And with experience as a State prosecutor, including over 60 jury trials, Mr. Sanders handles select criminal defense matters for our clients.




Silvia Rodriguez Sanders received her Bachelors degree from The University of South Florida in 1987. She served as Vice President of the University's Legal Aid Association, an association devoted to providing a voice for students and members of the local community who could not afford an attorney. Ms. Sanders interned for the Honorable Susan Sexton and James P. Taylor, both Hillsborough County Circuit Court Judges.


Ms. Sanders was admitted to Stetson University College of Law in 1987. She became a member of the Freshman Moot Court Team, and served as Vice Justice of the legal honor society, Phi Alpha Delta. Ms. Sanders also interned for the City of St. Petersburg and tried several county court cases for the City prior to graduation.

Ms. Sanders married Tristan W. Sanders and moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1991. She began practicing as a Public Defender for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit. Following a year of criminal trial practice, Ms. Sanders turned her focus to the representation of victims who suffered personal injuries resulting from the negligence of others. Ms. Sanders moved to Orlando, Florida in 1992, and became associated with Hill & Ponton, P.A. She became a partner of the firm in 1996.

Silvia Sanders joined the Law Offices of Dietz and Sanders, as a partner, in 2000, and merged with Bill Sublette to form Sublette, Sanders & Sanders in 2004.

Since 1992, Silvia has devoted her practice primarily to the representation of victims of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, including medical, nursing home and automobile negligence.

Silvia Sanders' work involves work in the courtroom, as a trial lawyer. She has tried numerous highly contested catastrophic injury and insurance cases to verdict in all levels of the courts in the State of Florida. In addition to the actual trial of lawsuits, Ms. Sanders recognizes the importance of a thorough evaluation and settlement of claims, which can, and should, be resolved without the necessity of litigation.

Ms. Sanders is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, The Florida Bar Association, The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, The Association of Trial Lawyers and the United States District Court, in and for, the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Sanders enjoys receiving referrals from colleagues throughout the state and nation. She was recently honored by her peers, as one of Florida's Legal Elite Civil Trial Attorneys, as published by Florida Trend Magazine (2005).

Silvia R. Sanders was born in Havana, Cuba on August 10, 1965. She immigrated to the United States in 1968. Ms. Sanders has lived in New Jersey and Texas. She has resided in Florida since 1976. Silvia is completely bilingual and continues to reach to the Hispanic community to serve and educate the community on a variety of issues relating to the field of personal injury, negligence and resulting damages.

Silvia and Tristan Sanders' have resided in Orlando, Florida since 1992. They have two children, T.J. (10) and Sophia (6). The Sanders' are members of St. James Cathedral Church. They are both active in their Church and School community.
